Rio Ferdinand Posts Clip From First Boxing Session

Rio Ferdinand has given fans an early insight into his decision to become a professional boxer by posting a clip from his first training video.

The Manchester United legend announced his plan to become a professional boxer as part of Betfair 's 'Defender to Contender' challenge earlier this month.

Ferdinand retired from top flight football two years ago and has managed to stay in excellent shape ever since.


After making his announcement, the 38-year-old said: "When Betfair approached me about the Defender to Contender challenge, the chance to prove myself in a new sport was a real draw.
