A study of more than 1.5 million men has found links between Peyronie's Disease – a condition that causes the penis to bend when erect – and several forms cancer, namely stomach, skin, and testicular.
The research was recently presented at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
Peyronie's is also known as penile fibroses. It affects around 155,000 male adults in the UK. It's more likely to develop after men reach the age of 40, but can impact men at any age.
Men with curved penises may be significantly more at risk from certain types of cancer, according to scientists.

It's important to note that while there are some apparent comparisons to be made, it's not yet known what causes Peyronie's and there's no absolute proof it's an indicator of anything other than the condition itself. So don't worry if you have it – the best thing to do is always ask your doctor for advice.
A spokesperson from Cancer Research UK added that Peyronie's is not yet fully understood. More research into all of the above will take place.
